Summer Term Week 1

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all keeping safe and well. This folder contains work you can complete this week. Remember Miss Smith and Miss Forman are still available on Class Dojo if you want to get in touch. We still enjoy seeing what you have all been up to :)

Follow the link to the BBC Bitesize website which has a number of different lessons for the children to work through.

Pick your favourite book you have at home, have read or can watch being read on YouTube, and then complete the activities in the PDF download below. This work can be printed or completed in your lined English books.

As a school, we follow the Ruth Miskin scheme; Read Write Inc. Follow the link below to see information on where you can find daily phonics sessions, Monday to Friday.

Remember the children can still access their Numbots account on the app.

Maths this week is all about counting in tens, making equal groups and adding equal groups. Below is each lesson for this week. You can either print these off or simply write the answers in your Maths exercise book.

You can have great fun completing physical activities by Joe Wicks or Cosmic Kids yoga.

Follow the link above and then find the PE lessons he has created.

This term in Science we were going to be looking at different animals. Research different animals around the world and then sort them into the correct boxes.

This term we were going to learn all about Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth I. Follow these links below to learn all about the two Queens. Try and remember the key facts and write them in your exercise book.

If you would like to do some of your own research then that would be fantastic!

In PSHE we are going to look at how we can look after ourselves. Have a go at one of the sheets in the pdf link, you do not have to do all of them! If you are on a computer you can download the powerpoint to have a look at some ways of looking after yourself. If you are on a tablet or phone you can follow the link below to watch a video all about staying healthy.
